Taki Hua takes a cross-agency approach, forming partnerships with major operators city wide to support and enable Māori success.

Amotai Is the New Zealand Governments Intermediary for supplier diversity working across Aotearoa to connect organisations to Māori businesses. 36th America’s Cup (AC36) programme of work
The 36th America’s Cup (AC36) was an important platform for Māori, and an opportunity to ensure that the unique cultural identity of Tāmaki Makaurau was shared domestically and internationally.

Taki Hua Economic Summit 2020
Auckland Unlimited Māori Outcomes team has been working to develop the Taki Hua kaupapa and as part of this mahi the inaugural Taki Hua Economic Summit 2020 was launched in November. The summit brought together over 50 speakers, across eight broad themes that canvased more than 20 topic areas. The kaupapa included business, industry and policy focused workshops, a small on-site premium marketplace for Māori businesses along with networking opportunities to boost connectivity across Tāmaki Makaurau.
Taki Hua Māori Business Showcase 2021
The 2021 inaugural Tāmaki Makaurau Taki Hua Māori Business Showcase was held at the Maritime room on Auckland’s waterfront on 22nd April 2020. Collectively set to leverage AC36 in increasing the visibility and raising the profile of Māori content and business, in partnership with Ngā Mana Whenua o Tāmaki Makaurau this event was one of a series of kaupapa delivered by the Auckland Unlimited Māori Outcomes whānau o Taki Hua.
